Getting started

PepLab is a private, research-only peptide tracker for iOS. You can sign in with Apple — there are no passwords to remember.

Invited by a clinic? Open your invitation email, copy the short code (looks like VAL-K7H2), download PepLab from the App Store, tap Sign in with Apple, then paste the code when prompted. You'll see your clinic's logo and brand colors after you complete onboarding.
Came on your own? Download the app, sign in with Apple, then tap Continue without a code on the invite screen. You can subscribe from the paywall, or skip and use the free tier.

My invite code isn't working

Most codes look like XXX-YYYY (three letters, a dash, four characters). A few things to try:

Codes are case-insensitive — paste as-is, the app will uppercase it for you.
Codes expire 30 days after issue. If yours is older, ask the clinic to resend.
Each code is single-use. If you redeemed it on one device, re-using it on another device will say “already redeemed” — that's expected. Just sign in with the same Apple ID and your data is already there.
If none of that helps, email support@peplabhq.com with your clinic name and we'll regenerate it.

Sign in with Apple isn't working

Make sure you're signed into iCloud on your iPhone (Settings → [your name]).
If you're prompted to share your email and choose Hide My Email, that's fine — Apple gives us a relay address that still works for invitation emails.
First-time sign-ins occasionally show “Sign-in temporarily unavailable”. Force-quit the app, wait 30 seconds, and try again. If it keeps happening, email support.

Subscriptions and billing

If you're on the organic (App Store) version, PepLab offers monthly and annual subscriptions through Apple.

Manage or cancel. Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → PepLab on your iPhone. Apple handles all billing — we never see your card.
Refunds. Apple administers refunds for all App Store purchases. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple denies the request and you believe it was warranted, email us and we'll advocate on your behalf.
Patients invited by a clinic. You're not charged — your clinic covers your access for as long as you're their patient.

Export my data

Inside the app: Profile → Account → Export my data. We bundle everything we have on you into a JSON file you can save, email yourself, or hand to your clinician.

Delete my account

Inside the app: Profile → Account → Delete account. This wipes your account and all logged data within seconds. It cannot be undone.

If you can't reach the in-app control, email privacy@peplabhq.com and we'll process it within 14 days.

Apple Health permissions

PepLab can read weight, sleep, heart-rate variability, and step data from Apple Health if you grant permission. We never write data back unless you explicitly opt in. To change permissions, open the Apple Health app → Sharing → Apps → PepLab.
